Even Little Scientists Get Birthdays :)

2 years ago today we were introduced to our Little Scientist.

In these 731 days (one regular and one leap year, for those checking my math) we have slept so little, worried so much, laughed so hard, and had SO MUCH FUN.

You rock Little Dude.

Happy Birthday.

Happy belated birthday to the Little Scientist! Tell your Mom you need one gift for every element on the Periodic Table. 😉

    • OOOOOHH – now don’t be giving the boy any ideas!! (I have a feeling this was our last Halloween / birthday where the gifts didn’t really matter… *sigh*)

      • ProfMomEsq says:

It’s so sad, isn’t it? At least Helene still gets more excited for the tree than anything else. She loves to take the ornaments off and put them back on — over and over and over. :0)

  5. Vanita says:

two is a super fun age. i dont know why they call it terrible twos. however i’d understand if the term terrible-scrappy threes existed. happy birthday to your little scientist!

  6. gfunkified says:

I hope he had a great birthday! Welcome to the not-so-terrible Twos. 🙂

    • After he got so sick at birthday time last year, we decided to keep it low-key this year. I think with a Fall birthday, we’re destined for SOMEONE to be rocking a cold right around his birthday every year. I think he had fun – he got BALLOONS AND EVERYTHING 😉

  7. What a sweet little face. I was cleaning out things recently and found the hospital photo of my infant son. The one they take and you buy and the poor little think looks like “What the heck just happened to me?” What was so funny, is I could so see him — now at 19 — in that first photo. Happy Birthday — and mine always hit the milestones on the half years. So look out in six months.

    • LOL – there are some infant pics where I swear my kid looks like an alien baby… But you’re right, there’s the ones where you go “HOLY CRAPP YOU’RE MAKING THAT FACE RIGHT NOW!!” 🙂
